Professor Robinson brings specialized expertise in Legal and Forensic Mental Health, conducting assessments for family law and criminal justice contexts, and Family Dispute Resolution as an accredited mediator and FDR practitioner.

Her depth-oriented, relational therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based focused psychological strategies with psycho-dynamic understanding, ensuring culturally responsive and trauma-informed care tailored to each client's unique needs and circumstances.

With nearly 20 years of experience, Carlene is a compassionate, person-centred clinical psychologist focussing on:

  • Supporting adults to overcome trauma, anxiety, and depression and life transitions.

  • Guiding couples to build intimacy and connection using Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

  • Empowering Autistic and ADHD adults (recently diagnosed or self-identified) to identify and embrace their strengths and navigate challenges with neurodiversity affirming strategies.

 

She uses evidence-based interventions, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Schema Therapy

Dr. Snellgrove brings over 25 years of empathetic clinical experience, working with clients ranging from adolescents to older adults within health care and hospital environments, government agencies—including emergency first responders—and private practice settings.

 

She provides comprehensive support for individuals facing depression and anxiety, grief, loss, adjustment challenges across the lifespan, PTSD, medical illness, injury, chronic pain, occupational stress and burnout, as well as family and relationship concerns.

 

She uses evidence-based interventions, including:
